Douglas Bagnall is an independent artist and programmer. He tries to put artists out of business by making machines that produce art. This was not always the case; during the 1990s he made experimental films. In 2006 he has been working on the Cloud Shape Classifier and a Mimetic Television, which produces original programs by imitating broadcast channels. Douglas lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
