Tara McPherson is Chair and Associate Professor of Critical Studies in USC’s School of Cinema-TV. She is co-editor of /Hop on Pop: The Politics and Pleasures of Popular Culture/ and author of /Reconstructing Dixie: Race, Gender/, /and Nostalgia in the Imagined South/, and editor of /Vectors/. Her new media research focuses on issues of convergence, race, and representation, as well as the film and multimedia work of Charles and Ray Eames. |
