Technical Support Team/Artist Management Team/Public Information Team

Festival Overview: ZeroOne San Jose: A Global Festival of Art on the Edge will showcase the world's most innovative contemporary artists at the intersection of art and technology. ZeroOne San Jose is a multi-dimensional, startling and brilliant audience event with exhibits, live cinema, performances, workshops and youth activities. ZeroOne is about artists making art using technology as a tool, but not about technology for its own sake. Concurrently, the 13th International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA2006) will be held August 7-13, 2006, in San Jose, California. The 2006 edition of the internationally renowned ISEA Symposium focuses on the critical, theoretical and pragmatic exploration of four important themes: Transvergence, Interactive City, Community Domain and Pacific Rim.

Volunteer Overview: The Volunteer program offers individuals the opportunity to become an integral part of the ISEA Symposium and the ZeroOne San Jose Festival.

This experience presents opportunities to meet and learn directly from interactive artists and industry professionals and network with those who have similar interests. Festival Volunteers assist festival attendees and support festival programs and events. Volunteers will also have free admission to all programs, the symposium, selected performances and many special events. Festival dates: August 7th–13th, 2006. For more information, log on to www.01sj.org We are looking for reliable, hard-working, self-starting, independent, enthusiastic individuals who are excited about the ZeroOne San Jose/ISEA2006 Festival and want to be part of a Global Festival of Art on the Edge.
