The Participatory Challenge: Incentives for Online Collaboration

Media theorist, artist, activist, founder of the Institute for Distributed Creativity. He organized several conferences including 'Share, Share Widely' on media art education and 'Free Cooperation' on the art of (online) collaboration. Scholz exhibits and lectures internationally and has contributed chapters to several anthologies and co-edited the forthcoming book 'The Art of Free Cooperation.' Scholz is professor and researcher in the Department of Media Study at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
